Kenneth Edwards, PhD

Kenneth Edwards is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of California and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. He earned his PhD in Business Psychology and Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. 


Throughout his career, Kenneth has worked as a consultant small and mid-level companies on mental health at work considerations, strategic change management, and work with specific employee based resource groups. 


While running private clinical practice, Kenneth most recently served as Executive Director for the California Association for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors where he found passion in advocating for workforce development in the mental health profession and ensuring high quality and greater access to mental health care.

Brenda Stephens

Brenda is a trauma informed counselor, speaker, educator, and owner of a group practice. Her clinical work focuses on complex trauma, relational trauma, and recovery from narcissistic abuse, and she is known for supporting survivors through counseling, psychoeducation, and support groups. Brenda integrates approaches including EMDR, somatic work, CBT, DBT, and is IFSI trained. She’s been in practice for about 16 years.

Dr Kristen Dempsey

Kristin is a psychotherapist, counselor educator, and trainer in evidence-based psychotherapy practices. Kristin is a practicing licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed clinical counselor. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings: schools, community-based organization, county mental health, training agencies, and universities and professional schools. In addition to training in motivational interviewing, Kristin trains and provides consultation for clinicians in dialectical behavior therapy, trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, clinician self-care, and suicide prevention and intervention. Kristin is core faculty at the Wright Institute’s Counseling Psychology Program in Berkeley, CA and is lecturing faculty at San Francisco State University.

Erick Nunez

Erick Nunez a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with most of his work based In Los Angeles CA. He owns Da Baddest Therapist, a therapy group practice and works to advocated for communities those who have been marginalized and oppressed and his goal is to provide a safe and creative therapeutic space for clients to express themselves openly and freely, with no judgment. Erick wants to make therapy comfortable, accessible, and affirming for people of color.
